Music

A performer in multiple genres, Sarah has worked as a solo performer, as leader of her band Kilborne & Co. (with Rob Caldwell and Trevor DePew), and as part of the duo Missy Mister (with Ryder Cooley). Sarah sings in several languages, writes music that combines blues, folk, big band, and swing, and reinterprets a variety of music from the 19th century to today. She also does voice-over work. In 2020, Sarah narrated the 9-part documentary Ken Forsse: Come Dream with Me Tonight by Icon Independent Films.

Sarah is currently performing her solo show, "The Lavender Blues," a showcase of queer music before World War II. Axel Belohoubek accompanies her on piano.
